Meet Your Guides: Fleur Creations, LLC


Hi, my name is Maria Fuller and I am the founder/Creative Director of Fleur Creations, LLC, a truly unique stationery studio specializing in custom pieces using materials imported from all over the globe. From silk covered boxes and handmade feather butterflies to luxurious Japanese Chyogami paper, we strive to design the most unique stationery to delight all of the senses.
Here on Stationery Guides, I will be discussing trends in the wedding industry with a focus on invitations and other unique wedding items that give that extra attention to detail, trends in baby and children’s stationery, and answering readers’ questions! Meet Your Guides: Shimmer Studio

Hello! My name is Dana and I am the owner and the designer for Shimmer Studio, located in Chicago. I specialize in letterpress stationery for general correspondence as well as for special events. All Shimmer Studio stationery features my whimsical illustrations. I love letterpress printing and silk screen printing. Currently I print and make all the stationery myself by hand. I am also a graphic designer and have worked on many different types of projects. I will be around to discuss general stationery, paper, copyright information, and to answer reader questions.

Meet Your Guides: Bride Design

My name is Erin and I'm the designer behind Bride Design. In 2004, after years as a corporate graphic designer, I struck out on my own and started creating couture wedding stationery wardrobes and event invitations. Over time, I've expanded into baby announcements, wedding ceremony and reception accessories, shower invites and more. In 2009, Bride Design is planning to launch a new line that goes beyond weddings, with a focus on social stationery, greeting cards and party invites.

I'm also the pen and paper half of Sweet Talk Boutique, where my invitation and greeting card designs are printed on cookies! Here at the Stationery Guides, I'll be talking about wedding and bridal shower invites, baby stationery, and printing methods (especially those of the non-cookie variety). Meet Your Guides: Robin Beth Designs

Greetings everyone! I am Robin from Robin Beth Designs. I have lines of letterpress wedding and mitzvah invitations that are sold through stores around the country. Everything I create is designed and handcrafted by me. I also do all my own letterpress printing on my hand cranked forty year old Vandercook press. I have some big expansion plans for the coming year, so stay tuned for lots of new designs and product lines from Robin Beth. Meet Your Guides: Paper Stories Letterpress

I will go first as we begin to introduce you to your guides. My name is Kelly and I run a little letterpress studio, Paper Stories in the Chicago area. I make all sorts of letterpress goodies from cards to rock posters to custom invitations.
