I adore these unique wedding invitations from Oslo Press.

I love how they mix wood engravings with letterpress elements for a complete tactile experience. Each of their wood veneer invitations is laser engraved, then hand sanded for a smooth finish. Don't be fooled by the term veneer - it is in fact real wood, just very thin layers of wood. For durability their invitations are actually made from several layers of wood veneer. They only offer domestically grown wood species - nothing imported and nothing from a rain forest.
Wood not only makes for great wedding invitations, but other wedding elements as well. Set the tone for your event with these fabulous zinnia themed Save-The-Dates from Night Owl Paper Goods. Made from eco-friendly sustainably harvested yellow birch wood, you can also find invitations on their website that match.

Gorgeous and green what's not to love about these wooden stationery treats!
