This is the Jewish New Year - Rosh Hashanah. It is a happy holiday, a celebration to be shared with friends and family. Traditionally celebrated with apples and honey and good wishes for a good new year.
It is appropriate, though not required, to send Jewish new year cards to friends and family with maybe the following sentiments...
Wishing you a sweet new year.
May the coming year be filled with health and happiness.
You may sign the cards with the family name or first and last names. If you are signing with first and last names write the woman's name first . Children's names would be just underneath parent's names.
